Robin (Dog Training in North Branford) has been helping us train our one year old puppy, Bernie, for a few months now and the results have been outstanding. Robin is very professional and always comes prepared for every session, even bringing the treats for training. Not only does Robin come to help us train our dog , but she also supplied us with literature and information to help us teach our 8 year old daughter to recognize the moods and behaviors of all dogs. Additionally, Robin always makes time for any questions and concerns that we may have, either during training or with a quick text or email in between sessions. Robin is a pleasure to work with and our dog Bernie Is always excited to see her when she comes for training. We highly recommend Robin to all who may need her services.

From the beginning Robin was fantastic, the first interaction was a consultation where she met us at our home to go over the in's and out of how to puppy proof the house, and all be on the same level to training mind set within the family. Robin knows her stuff, she offered books to read and was available at all time for any questions. She was consistently on time and her passion for dogs is very strong. Having several dogs of her own she treats your dog in a very humane kind and loving manner to help develop a relationship of dog and owner as well as a companion! The training was very easy to pick up, without any confusion. After each training session she would issue a guideline of great detail how to continue the training we learned for that day. Our puppy had a bad resource guarding issue. Robin took the time to bring him into her home for several days to work on this issue. I have recommended Diamonds in the Ruff to several other dog owners both at the park and or out for a stroll at the beach. Our experience with Robin has been a great one hands down!

I have been taking my 8 mth old pup to basic obedience classes but it was not helping with the issues I was facing at home. I would Highly, Highly recommend Robin as a trainer! We recently got a Wheaten pup named Emma. She had a very high dose of energy. They don't call it the Wheaten Greetin' for nothing! We tried to work with her ourselves but realized we needed help. After researching and receiving various recommendations from friends, we found Robin. She is a joy to work with and can do miracles! Robin has been great to work with while training my puppy. She does an amazing job of teaching you on how to properly train and will guide you along the way. She is always available for questions or support when you get frustrated or lost in your training. She comes right to your home and stays late if you need the extra help.
